Thumbs up

Just sold my Vectra.

Bought in May 2000 for £8000. 25000 on the clock. (Dealer)

Sold in Oct 2002 for £3750. 92000 on the clock. (Private)

Av between 45&50 mpg & just regular dealer servicing (menu prices).

Cheap insurance.

So that car cost only about £2750 per year all in (+ diesel of course)

Not bad at all

Hmmm....

Mum gave me her mint 1.0 Fiesta for abolutely nothing.

Had it 2 years, £16 a week petrol for work at approx 260 miles. Cheap tax and insurance to boot. Not a theiving git target like Impreza, although someone did nick my front indicator(?!?!?). Sold it 3 weeks ago for £670 with only 41,500 on clock (genuine).

I've bought 4 new tyres and made one months payment for the Subaru - gone already!!

Cool

OK! OK!

I admit defeat

All in running costs including insurance/servicing/tyres/depreciation etc for 2.5 years over 70K miles reliable motoring was CHEAP compared to a shed load of other cars out there

In comparisson to a simillar priced/type car then it was definately
