I posted an installation guide for a camera that I own, I have two of them and they work great.

i have a nextbase 612 4k cam for the front and a nextbase 112 for the rear in my daily oil burner!! stacks of features on the 612 and the 4k playback is crystal clear (also has a polarising lens for glare which is adjustable). touch screen and has a quick release mount which removes in seconds keeping all the wires where they should be. there is also a small button on the side and if you notice/see anything, just press it and it automatically saves the last 20sec before you press it which is really handy!!

I have a dashcam built into my Garmin Drive Assist 50 Sat nav which is pretty good.
