Default Wheel bearing or gearbox dif ?

No wheel wobble or very noticeable grinding when rotating , and hubs dont heat up after 10 mile run

very small day on day build up of humming coming from front and with speed

You can deflect / lessen the noise by incremental adjustment of steering wheel around straight ahead position

preying its hub

High miles ?

Usually a wheel bearing noise is more noticeable whilst turning, (on aroundabout, tight bend).

If small increments of steering in a straight line increase/decrease the noise i,d lean towards front diff.

maybe wait a while until it becomes more noticeable !!.

Hindustan Contessa...

Simple to fix though; Just moan more loudly about Brexit

If the wheels fall off you can then stand at the side of the road and remonstrate it as a artistic interpretation of our economy under potential Corbyn rule

Right!!, you can probably buy another car for price it will cost to fix.

Just bin it or p/x for other car. problem solved.

Not worth troubling over, with the price of runabouts at the moment.

Not as bad as some but not worth the hassle or cost.

Quite disappointed nobody said the obvious diagnostic task:

Jack up and spin each wheel and listen.
