Default Fabia 1.2 tsi Montecarlo

We are about to pick up a tidy 2011 Fabia Montecarlo for the Mrs. Meant to be 105 bhp though certainly didn't feel very quick on test drive though ownership may be different. Have joined Briskoda.net which is good. Meant to be a good little engine. However, lots on there see modifications as adding rear parking sensors, cruise control or a sunglasses holder!! A few talk about mapping up to 130 or even 150 so I know there are options, but not much about exhausts etc. Just wondered if anyone has ownership experience? Comes with a year's warranty so won't fiddle with it in short term.

Well its reasonable light in a world full of bloated hatchbacks, steering not quite wonderful though apparently

but I imagine you could get any power considering there's a turbo there

No ownership experience. Had the previous generation Fabia vRS which was utterly brilliant.

Seen some Monte Carlos. They look nice. Don't think they were ever meant to be rocket ships. Shame really

Car looks mint. Will prob have a mild remap to 130 and leave it at that. No point in being silly!
