Seems to be a trend here ....
What’s the ET on those?
I ended up purchasing a set as my original Zolders were buckled, corroded and wouldn’t hold air. Original idea was to restore these for summer and buy something for winter that was easier to keep clean and more pothole/curb friendly, but everything on ebay/gumtree was just to scabby or had poor quality refurbs, so I ended up buying a set of OEM Speedlines with polished rims...probably the worst option for winter use!
So I had the zollders restored by JP alloys in cannock (perfect job btw) for winter and now use the speedlines for summer:
The only issue is the Speelines have a ET54 and the Zolders are 51 so the wheels sit in by 3mm which looks even more due to setback of the face from the rim, so may fit 3mm spacers next summer.

Wingbacks was the only extra fitted from the factory, since added cruise control, MFSW, electric heater and pencilled in to get all the bodywork sorted (new wings etc.) in March.
Currently have winter tyres on and hate them (Dunlop winter sports) Even when it’s 7 degrees outside, damp grip is no where close to the PS3s in the same temperatures and conditions plus the curb protection is none existent so they’ll probably go on gumtree in spring.

Believe it or not it was a stop-gap car after my Monaro back in 2007...then the hatch came out and we had the 2.5 single scroll forced on us. Fast forward 11years and I’m yet to find a replacement.
Maybe tempted if I see a nice JDM Legacy wagon with a 2.0 twin scroll.
Probably could buy back my MY97 for less than the cost of replacing the steering rack on the golf, it’d be a bad idea though as it will be a rust bucket now though as it’s no longer garaged
