Default Poorly Car

I've got a Ford Focus 1ltr Ecoboost, it's not even 3years old with 25k on the clock. Yesterday a a pipe split and now we think head gasket has gone. The mechanic who came out said the pipe is brittle and now way a car this age with that mileage should have this problem and to take it back to Ford. Does anyone think Ford will do anything about this?

Tbf ford and vuahall dealers aren't exactly great when it comes to aftercare, half of them are cluless in diagnosing problems.

One of the best dealers ive found are benfield toyota and audi

Is the pipe split related to the HG

HG failures can overly pressurise the cooling system leading to split (top) hoses

Had a few friends say that main dealers always try and get out of it. I'll find out at about 9am this morning.
It's got plenty of oil and it did have water.

I guess it depends on the dealer. Although I had to fix a new Fiesta with a faulty drive flange/hub(distorted or machined off centre) which gave the sensation of warped front brake discs; Dealerships kept replacing the pads and discs....you'd think that after three sets of discs in 2000miles they'd twig something else is at fault -it wasnt even expensive to fix!
