Hey guys, I'm Gareth from Oxford. Drive an E60 BMW 530D. Just recently I've started to experience this noise (See Clip) @ 4min 35 Onwards. I have the exact same noise and not sure what it is ?


It's not happening regularly. Just now and again.... But I'm guessing it's something what's about to go or start of a problem

Start watching from 4.35. It's like a Beat noise. Hoping some good techy on here can shed some light as to what it might be..

By the sound of that. I'd get the diagnostics kit hooked up and look at the smooth running/correction values for each injector.

Its surging/hunting at idle which isn't right, why its doing that, is a totally different ball game. Lots of faults can cause this.

Could be serious (as in a £hundreds), or could be a simple case of air getting sucked into the fuel system.
