Default Smacs to Wales November 11th

When we first got together as a "group" (there were 4 of us ) we used to meet, chat for a while, then go for a brilliant drive through the countryside. We'd then pause at a pub somewhere, have a coke, then drive home, and it was good Then, as members came and went, and the club grew and grew, the drives out got fewer and fewer. Until where we're at now. Our last drive out as a club was back in June, albeit on our favourite roads in Wales, but nearly 15 weeks ago!
Clearly something is amiss, and I aim to put that right
So, starting with this run on the 11th November, I aim to organise and run a drive out at least once a month over the winter period. We'll start where we know best, and where the roads are the best as well, in North Wales. This will be an early start, newbies will be more than welcome, and the pace will be moderate.
If you have a two way radio, bring it, as we have used them extensively in the past to communicate directions/hazards/getting lost
Turn up at the start location with a full tank of fuel, and if you're bringing a partner, ensure they are used to a brisk pace before you come on a group run.
We're starting in Wales, however, over the coming months we'll be visiting Derbyshire, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Cumbria. I'll post further details of the route and start time on our private forum on Amita. If you're a member of smacs and don't have access, then pm or email me via my profile, and I'll sort out access once I've met you in person.

Does this mean you are getting a new one or repairing the old one.

I'd like to tag along on this one, if that's okay? Really enjoyed the Evo Triangle run out last year.

Sorry mate must have misread the newbie bit, didn't know you had to already be a member to go on this one. Not been able to make Thurs nights since that run so this would have been my second meet.

Looks like Lee's bang in the middle, he has a silver STI and met up with us at the shell station last year, same as me.

Should be around for this. Will endeavour to keep the diary free.

I'll also be organising a smaller run into the hills and onto the plains of Cheshire soon but details will be posted later on a new thread.
