Is it still on if the numbers don't increase, if you get short of real cars (impreza's) i could always put a last minute post in the northern section of SEATcupra.net for some FWD Turbo's (petrols and diesels).

Just mailed Casey today, and he's happy for the event to go ahead even with the low numbers

At least we don't have to endure a load of oil burners then

Thanks for the offer though Martin. (May be worth having a chat while you're there and organising one for the oilers another day?)

As this starts at 9am on Sunday, if you're interested in convoying down from the stockport/manchester area, I'll be at PC World in Stockport, on Portwood Roundabout for 8am on the sunday morning. We can then have a gentle run down the m56/m53 to the wirral
Let me know if you're going to meet me there.
For those running on v-power, there are plenty of shell stations near Dyno Demon, I'll be getting tesco 99 before sunday, just to see what the difference is like

There are Shell stations at Neston and Heswall that both have a regular supply of V-power I use them both and have never had a problem with the fuel.

Any chance of being a non SMACS reserve (although I know a couple of you, hard not to really you lot get everywhere )

Just had an upgrade and remap by Andy F but my brand new Apexi AVCR from Flat4Online has bit the dust within a week, so am hoping to get my hands on a Dawes device before the weekend.

My sodden luck the Posties are still on strike!!

Anyway if I get one I'd appreciate the chance to butt in as my AVCR never controlled the boost properly anyway so Andy had to compromise for around 360 lb of torque as opposed to 380/390 and it should be running around 420 bhp mark. All figures estimated on 2 power runs up and down Andy's test strip! So would like to know if its worth having te map tweeked with the Dawes fitted.

Cheers lads,

Dave
