At the NBO 5 as you all know we have all our club stands on display
as last year we have to restict space to 16-18 cars MAXIMUM ###

the reason for this is we have to leave a large area in the middle of the field for other cars and of course the show arena ######

Im sure now competion will be fierce to want to show the best cars on the club stands (although this has nothing to do with the club stand competion as we have a best scooby competion for that !!!
(A full list rules for the club stand will be produced after the next NBO committee meeting !!)
I have prepared a list from last year of the club stands

please can you confirm your atendance on THIS THREAD so we can start the planning and location of you all and how many cars you will fetch and also a tent etc

After a packed and hectic NBO committee meeting last night andlooking at the space allocated for club stand we have measured out the space that large club stands will be allocated and it is

70 foot wide

40 foot deep

as high as you want it !!!

for the largeclub stands

we have had to make these sizes due to

overall space around the field edges and leaving enough space in the middle for the new show arena and parking for non club stands

before you all moan 'its not enough for us' well sorry but the rules are there
we measured out the spaces last night at the meeting and does give enough space for 7 /8 along the front row 7/8 along the middle row and possibly 4 and a tent/gezebo etc along the back row which will give you more then enough space .

we have available 7 of these larger plots so its first come first served

Ayreshire ,WYIOC and of course CW the legend and the SMACS have booked the large plots soif you want a large plot register it now !!

after the first 7 have gone they will be scaled down to make them fit in the remaining space for smaller club displays

Gussy <the ringmaster> and a couple of NBO committee members will be marking out the field at 5am on the sunday 17th and you will not be allowed any more space then what is allocated

I do suggest at your next club meetings that you start planning the layout as when you are judged for the stand of the day we are not looking necessarly for most and best cars on the stand
less can be best if it is tastefully done!!

and of course I do suggest that cars that will be entering the classes for the best car should park at the front of the stand so it is easier access for you and saves moving everyone around as you will only have a few minutes to get to the arena

Is it true your building a garage on your stand and racing pitstops as well as the 5 tents and kids section as well !!

You lot are in for a REAL SHOCK this year

The judgeing sheets are nearly finished and the competion will be rolled out shortly to you all

The judges will take no prisoners and will reduce many members to tears with what we have planned

Of course you will all moan and groan and say 'we were the best' and of course we cant please everyone but there is 4 tropheys up for grabs and the judges havent a clue ypou will all say, when you dont win but the odds are better then lottery

In fact i have recruited to thejudgeing panel a real surprize for you all who really set the standards for perfection !!!

How about inviting the MLR to do the judging, that would certainly get a fair/ unbiased opinion
