You're welcome to join us on the last Thursday of each month. Please have a look at Madgrip's WYIOC forum as posted by Phil (Madgrip) above.
Out next meet is this coming Thursday. If you're unsure about what goes on etc, feel free to Private Message any of us. The Chairman of the group is Alan C (Al). For my sins, I'm the Treasurer.....

Just in case the guy hasn't collated all the information.
We usually meet up at the Fenay Bridge Hotel on the Penistone Road at around 7.30 the last thursday every month. This month however, due to refurbishment we will be meeting at the Fenay at 7pm then heading out for a leisurely drive down to the Ladybower Inn to meet up with some of the S.Yorkshire guys.

Oi
I don't need training to clean my car. I've cleaned it 3 times this year!
Seriously though to combat my laziness I have found a good valeting garage that does a great job for £6!! (outside only!)
Cheers

We do seem to have the ability to turn a perfectly normal post into a sordid, sexually frustrated tittering of Fnaarrs.. don't we
Cool..
Sorry James.. But we're always like this...

I still have my Subaru. Started to like it again!
Dont get chance to use it though apart from to go to work and to training.
Some bloke emailed me out of the blue asking if it was still available and if he does I may sell it!
Changed my mind as to what I want but have narrowed it down to the following :-
[flame suit on]
Evo 6
ZM Roadster
Supra Twin Turbo 6 Speed
M3 Evo Convertible
Escort Cosworth
S3 (with sensible head on!)
[flame suit off]
What do you guys think?
Cheers

Just my opinion, but...
Evo 6, If you don't know my views on Evo's then where've you been?
ZM Roadster as in the hardtop? Ugly as sin, but serious motoring oomph!
Supra Twin Turbo 6 Speed er, nope
M3 Evo Convertible er, nope. It's an image thing, they all seem to be driven by *****, plus standard UK classic's keep up with 'em. (I know it's not entirely a performance thing with one of these, but if I'd shelled out that much brass I'd not want a 225bhp Scoob embarrassing me!)
Escort Cosworth FAR too expensive, old. Problems finding a mint, unabused example
S3 (with sensible head on!) Nice, sensible, not TOO common
[flame suit off]
BTW, it may be worth considering an EvoVIII, there's a 3000 miler in the trader for £21k
All IMHO

The ZM roadster is the convertible. My mate has the hardtop and its looks a bit batmobile-ish for me. Took it out on Friday night though and it didn't half go!!
No what your saying about the M3 - i've just always fancied one
Escort Cosworth - see above
Supra - Why you against it?
With regards to the Evo - I actually have an Evo 5 (or should I say the family owns one!!!) and I like it but have always prefered the 6. So I know about how well they go and handle. Plus tuning capabilities are much better. The only thing that puts me off is the amount of time they seem to need servicing, changing clutches, flywheels, brakes etc
I would have considered an EVO VIII but finances won't stretch unfortunately!!
HB
You want me to get a Skyline then? Again for the one I would want it would probably be a bit expensive!!
Cheers guys, keep the comments and opinions coming!!
