I'll be there, weather permitting of course. My mate wants me to take the 1 up the strip to see how it compares to his stage 3 vxr burg, apparently running 332bhp. Should be fun as long as it doesn't snow.
There should be a lot of nice cars there, and well worth the £4 entry. An appropriate send off for a petrol head first and an actor second.

Exactly the reason I'll be staying at home in front of the fire. Equally, they are bound to have an absolute nightmare getting all of those cars through the country lanes and villages. I hope everyone has enough fuel and coolant...

Include just about every type of performance car from Japanese to American Muscle and even a Mk2 Escort so there's something for everyone. Add in enough t!ts to keep things interesting and a bit of a back story. Multi facet the story so the males watching get enough tyre smoke and gunfire so they can dream about drifting their Corsa through central Tokyo and then enough of a slow burning love story to keep the girls dreaming.
Cue millions of people identifying with the lovable rogue of policeman gone bad but only ever committing crime in order to take down an even bigger crook (Robin Hood anyone? ) and enough petrol heads of all persuasions secretly wishing they were him.
That's 'it'.

you lot of miserable ****-wipes make me laugh at times..........
if somebody dies who is known for something then of course they will get alot of attention.
for instance-
if a world class football player dies then there will be loads of people who like football/his team and many things he may have been involved in taking part in tributes etc .
if a singer dies then there will be alot of gigs and other songs dedicated to their memory etc.
if a famous or well respected boxer dies then there will be alot of boxing matches dedicated to his memory and charity boxing matches will probably take place with the funds going to.............guess what-A CHARITY.
paul walker might not have been in the best films OR was in the celebrity spotlight all the time (probably a wise move on his part) but he was a huge petrol head as are most of us and he also did alot for charity hence people are trying to give him a good send-off.
do you understand now or is it too hard to grasp that somebody who enjoyed life to the full and helped many people is getting a good send off.
nelson mandela passed last week so i can imagine that in some countries there will be tributes to him and charity fund-raisers happening in his memory.......

Must be something to do with the whole celebrity obsession people have these days, I think this was shown with the number of pages his RIP thread received and in particular the comments stating he was a "legend", no he wasn't and I'd doubt he'd ever consider himself as such.
Do you understand ??

Keep your strides on Shrek, **** me, he was a small time actor that did some charidee work, all I'm saying is that i'm suprised someone of his standing, not that great imho, has received more attention after hs death than I would expect.
