I have watched, in fact still watching Question Time with David Dimbleby, Anna Soubry MP, Emily Thornberry MP, Nigel Farage MEP, poet Benjamin Zephaniah and Vicky Price.

Dimbleby does a good job as usual.
Anna Soubry had some reasonable points to make about a few things
Emily Thornberry seemed quite smart
Nigel Farage got my vote. He or his party publicity fvcked up saying 27 million people would land on our shores when the borders drop for Romania etc.
Ben Zep - waste of a seat. Is he the token ethnic? He was a clown and not a good one.

Not quite Jods. He let Anna get away with claiming that, which I think was a mistake. The actual claim was we would be opening our doors to 27 million people, NOT that 27 million people would come, which is in fact correct, as all of them COULD come here if they wanted.

Anna got the hump because Farage caught her on the point of ships being built in Korea, not a good thing for a defence minister to be caught out on I would suggest....

What got me was the obvious Labour plants in the audience AGAIN, having a pop at UKIP. The salad dodger woman in particular, where do they find such pro immigration people in Boston I wonder?

Thought the same as you, he was right though there is over 27 million between Romania and Bulgaria. As he said "potentially" 27 million, obviously they wont all come over but the party has to sex it up a little. (Of course the other parties wouldn't dream of doing that).

Now that was worth watching. Not quite as good as Piers Morgan's meltdown but very funny nonetheless. Jeffrey went pale when the photo of him burying his head in that birds **** was shown. Classic.

Farage is not PM material but he serves the useful role of breaking the PC headlock and forcing debate on the immigration subject where previously there couldn't be any. . I like him.

I have had several conversations with grant shapps over the last 18 months. I've made my position clear. He hasn't delivered. I will be voting UKIP.

It will be interesting to see how successful they will be in the European elections in May. The bookies have them as favourites, and its always been a strong election for them. There are local elections that day as well. UKIP doing well would really cement their position I reckon. With people like yourself giving them the vote for (presumably) the first time, it could be a big swing

I've stopped watching/recording Question Time purely for the amount of (champagne) socialist types in the audience. People moan that politicians aren't in the real world - bloody hell, what about the 'plants'

I've always avoided voting for the Farage party - because when it comes to UKIP, that is all you see and hear from.

Great guy to have a drink with no doubt, a very interesting person in general. But the crass publicity stunts he has used in the past has always made me avoid them. But these days, it appears he's getting more serious on matters rather than playing the joker. He's a good guy to have influence in the running of the country, but as a leader, I'm not so sure. As strategically, his facts on the exact methods he will use to achieve his goals are rather thin on the ground. Having said that, this is no different to any other party (especially Labour ).

However for UKIP to get more momentum, they need to get more of its candidate other than Farage out there in the wider world of plublicity, so we know who they are and what they stand for. Farage has proven to be extremely articulate - I want to see what his colleagues have to offer. And on QT would be a good start (not HIGNFY )

I agree and I never watch it. It's completely pointless in my view. Why would you need to constantly listen to the views of others on certain issues if not just to get annoyed at the ones you don't like and then 'get involved'? A total waste of energy during time that is better spent relaxing.

The way I look at it is that I'll either agree with something or I won't. It doesn't matter what it is, I'm naturally inclined to react to something in a certain way. It's not as if I'll morally lose touch with the rest of the human race if I don't listen to their views on every single issue. Every time I do watch it, it just seems like a rabble of saddos with nothing better to do. And because these people are those who feel the need to constantly 'get involved', the program obviously does not give an accurate cross section of the general public.

I'll be voting for his party in May and at the next GE Not even close to my politics, but at least he doesn't seem to be a self serving greedy liar like the Cameron, Miliband and the worst of the lot Clegg!
