Google does it again......WHY?
WHY have they changed the good old reliable Google maps? The new ones take ages to load and are far too fussy to do stuff like drag to change a route.
Please can I have my old version back? Please?
Typical Google, Microsoft etc.
WHY change something that ain't broke? WHY????

That's about it.
It's on this desktop. I had a look at the new maps, didn't like them and they have put them on here in place of my old ones.
When asking for directions, it USED to set a route, which was easy to drag and drop to a different route and see whether you save any distance etc.
The new ones, when you zoom, only show the route you can see, when you scroll down it slowly fades up the rest, plus dragging and dropping is now so fussy it ends up doing loops.
AWFUL.

Update: you can go back to the old style by going to Google maps.com, clicking on help and support, then on return to old maps. Once you do that, it gives you an option to make it permanent, or it will default back to the new maps when you navigate away.
