And give it another year and you won't be able to get a Plasma, which is a shame as I think they still give a better picture than LED's.

lol @ people STILL believing LCD TVs are even worth looking at, I hate watching somebody elses crap LCD TV. Always rated Plasmas much higher than the other crap.My Panasonic Veira that I bought in 2004 for 2k still provides a better picture than my parents LCD that they bought 2 years ago.

Pioneer are the best in the business 6k for 50" wall mount
Sadly tho they have stopped production into TV's
J guess its better to leave the game when your at the top & blowing the competition out the water

I have to say,with a certain amount of relief, that the Panasonic LCD I have recently bought has a slightly better picture than the Panasonic Plasma which I had before.
I was surprised to find that is the case.

And which company bought Pioneer's plasma technology after they pulled out of the market, oh yes is was Panasonic.
No matter what anyone in Currys tells you LED TVs are not that, they are LCD with an LED back light, the edge lit panels are still not great for contrast and black levels, the matrix lit panels are getting there but still not a patch on a decent plasma (i.e. Panasonic).
End of discussion.
