Chinese Visa
I've a business trip to China on the horizon, probably a maximum stay of 2 weeks. Has anybody experience of the Chinese visa process, what sort of visas are available and where to start the ball rolling?
Thanks in advance.

Well I have been several times on business....
Our company get all its visas from here: http://cibtvisas.co.uk/
I know you have to fill in a long form, send pics etc that has to be downloaded from above site!
They are dead picky about any mistakes on the form too!

My GF does them all the time, not easy by all accounts! I think you need to have a letter of invitation from said Chinese firm, inviting you over, then you need have proof of booked flights which match your stay...could be mixing that with them coming here though!
I won't see her till the weekend though, stupid shifts!

Have you a second passport that you can send off for the visa. I travelled to China years ago and had awkward questions asked every time I wanted to travel as I had a Chinese visa in my passport.
