Hi
I hope you can help me, I am looking to buy a detector but don't really know which one to go for.
I have seen the Origin Blue i and like the look of it, but what is the best, most efficient and accurate unit available?
Any help would be greatdully received.
Thanks!

Right firstly origin blue is the best gps based detector out there the trouble is they dont detect mobile speed traps they do however know where all fixed forward and rear facing cameras are .
A radar detector picks up all working speed traps lazer camera etc down side is you get false alarms from security sytems and electric doors the other thing is radar detectors can not pick up forward facing cameras so the only real option is to get 1 of each radar detector like a bell or snooper and a gps based unit only 2 types as far as iam aware

Also looking at the moment.
Spoke to Stuart at Radar-Detectors.co.uk (i think that was who it was i would have to check my history).
His thoughts are that the Origin Blue has the potential to be better than Geodysy but the first batch that came out had a few failings.
As regards the best protection he recommended a GPS device and Laser Diffuser. About the only thing you would not be covered by are the moveable Gatsos but as most mobile cameras are laser now this may not be much of a problem.

I have an Origin Blue i and it stores mobile motorway gatsos. It just comes up, for example, M61 TEMP
Agree. The best option is the Origin (or Geodesy) and a laser defuser. That is what I have.
