I saw some footage which contained a gang of men walking around with sticks and machetes, hacking and swinging at everything they encountered. It was sickening stuff, people on their knees pleading for life being killed in the most brutal fashion.

Your point being?

How about the most recent massacre in Burma? Nobody mentions that one? How about the fact that our media are siding with the terrorists in Syria? Does that bother you at all?

Is this a ***** waving contest by any chance?

My point is you said that "9/11 was not on our turf!" Neither is 99.9% of the ****e that's going on in the world.

Terrorists in Syria I thought the "terrorists" where fighting an oppressive Arab Dictatorship?

Is Burma a threat to Western culture or society? But I am sure it's another Dictatorship flexing it's muscles.

If the media spent all their time broadcasting who was oppression who, killing who, mass murdering etc etc then the X Factor sob stories would not get a look in!

Anyway, one man's terrorist, another man's hero.
Think Gerry Adams/Martin McGuinness and the like, that's home turf and we have forgotten them. Oh yes, and they where funded by the Yanks too.

We going to get back on thread soon?

Sooooo.... as 11/9 was not on our turf and neither is a lot of other stuff that goes on round the world. Why is 11/9 so sympathised and not the rest. Even to the point where 7/7 is left in the background.

So anyway back to the thread... well no updates from what i can see. A customer of mine lost his grandson in Afghanistan last week. Another pointless loss. Another family grieving and another parent burying their child. Sad, sad and sad. I'd hate to see what the Afghans are going through.

Taylor - I have to give you a plus 1 on something. The whole Salafi thing isn't as nice as it initially seems. I have been going by the mantra the bigger the beard the bigger the bas***d for a while now and it is not entirely accurate. However if prejudices are based on those who wear trousers that are too short for them then results will be very accurate.

FFS Taylor! Do you have trouble deciding what socks to wear on Mondays? Colleague told me x customer has had someone pass away as said death occurred. I spoke to customer and he could not make meeting at a certain time as he has other important arrangements to make. I did not respond with 'oh is it because x, y and z as it would be damn right rude and insensitive! Do you actually think i will start lecturing him about the right and wrongs of the invasion? Do you think i should have verified the fact and asked for a death certificate? Are YOU really so insensitive?

What you need to understand is that a lot of Muslims do not high five one another when a soldier dies out there, a lot of Muslims realise the lie we are being fed and don't blame soldiers for what they have been ordered to do.
Although when they transgress said boundaries and commit Murder (like that American guy who went on a random shooting spree) then they deserve to have the book thrown at them.

Is this seriously difficult for you to understand? Honestly is it? A man of your knowledge should know a lot better!

It all seems a bit unlikely to me. Anyway, your Brummie brethren are in hot water. Are any of this lot from your Mosque?

And to think I was just about to set up a monthly direct debit to Muslim Aid!

One could state that you come across as pretty obsequious yourself. I think you need to socialise more and learn to integrate better.

Bloody ridiculous full stop

Watching "Our War" the other night, other than sitting there with total and utter admiration for our troops and the spirit they show.

It was noticeable how many of them hated having to play by the rules, I personally can't see why the rules of engagement apply when you are fighting what are loosely termed as terrorists.

And I'm sure they're thinking the same whilst coming under a hail of bullets, but I get your drift.

Her Majesty, The Queen, her heir's and successor's.
