I'm still waiting on things from the very beginning of December.
Think I should just write them off and get my money back now like.
I'm also still waiting for a parcel from America bought over a month ago... lord knows where that is.

I agree the service at times is shocking.
My wife ordered something off amazon at the beginning of December, we received a card through the door (well we received 2 one was for something I ordered)
I selected for them both to be delivered on the same day, but only one was delivered mine...where the other one was/is who knows...I even tried to get it delivered again and got the online receipt thingy...it didn't turn up, we can only assume it will get back to Amazon at some point but becasue Amazon have such a good customer service after a simple email to them they have dispatched another order (which I hasten to add it still to arrive lol.)

Trying to get any thing delivered is a fekking lottery these days.
If i have to use RM i send it at least 1st Signed For, i ask for sellers to do the same for me. Otherwise it seems to, err, eh hem 'disappear' into that massooof void that is the RM system.
Couriers???? Sh1tty Link are by FAR the worse, than RM even.

City Link, Durham branch were kept off the road also. Only other courier I saw on the road was Parcel Force.
I work out of Newcastle branch, I was never off the road due to adverse weather. Oh, and I'm employed as opposed to owner driver, I quite like my attendance record, no sickness or down time in the last 8 1/2 years(9 years in June).
City Link might well be shit in your area, but we sure as hell aren't in mine. We're behind still, it's not because of our drivers though.
You may want to try a different area then make your judgement. Just like you may like to try posting in a non stupid colour, in bold with Italics.

Really? FWIW When the snow hit the NE in early December, Royal Mail weren't allowed/couldn't get out of their depot in North Tyneside. DHL, TNT, Scooby Soon's favourites HDNL were all kept off the road.

I knew either you or your other half would jump on that.
It's not personal to you Micky. It's the fact that i have 'never' had a decent service from City Link, i have in the past done a 100 mile round trip (after doing my own 15 hour shift) to collect my item from the depot.
It is my personal belief that the Company has some logistics issues, and for a courier company that is unacceptable.
So you are suggesting that i move home so as to aid City Link in there quest to be successful. City Link are a courier service, and by the nature of their business, they are suppose to come to me. Now there's logistics for you.
As for me posting in bold green (I)italics, well you really are scrapping the barrel for a dig.

My lass, I think wouldn't bother, your opinion of my employer matters nothing to her.
You should try moving to get a better service, try the NE27 area, they get a great service.
If you have to make that sort of round trip, then you must, assuming, live in the countryside, or are we/they really crap in your area? I don't know where you live, so you'd have to enlighten me.
I wouldn't suggest for a second, that you move to aid City Link, they/we should be better in your and all areas; I'd just rather you didn't link me with the hapless that you and others are stuck with.
Right, binty, ban the green posting one.
