Default Film (scene) that Inspired you\Changed you're life

....do you have one that had such an impact? whole film or even just a scene.

I suppose i wouldn't go as far as saying actually changed you're life, but certainly made you think if you get my drift.

The end of The Elephant Man where he's holding a picture of his mother and lays down to sleep and knows that in doing so (instead of sleeping sitting up) he won't wake up.

Brought a tear to my eye just typing that.

A mixture of two films literally changed my life, Kevin and Perry Go Large and Human Traffic. Before these films I was doing well in school then afterward I bought decks and wanted to be a drugged up superstar DJ! I had an impressively fun time off my **** but failed my AS/A levels and have a really bad short term memory to show for my efforts!

Yes - a couple.

Good Will Hunting - the scene where Robin Williams says 'It's not your fault'. Had a massive impact on me and led to a series of events that changed my life fundamentally.

Backed up by Field of Dreams - if ever there was a 'chick movie' for guys - this is it!

National Lampoons Animal House - went to see it in the cinema instead of revising for my exams - saw it 7 times in a row!

Exan results not so good...

Kenin & Perry Go Large really threw me into the whole Trance music scene and Ibiza thing when I was 15-16 and I've never looked back. Definitely changed my way of life watching that film.

Recent times - Yes Man with Jim Carey. Made me realise that by putting more effort in and tkaing a chance you get more joy out of life. My recent adventure to Glasgow in a pittance for a festival I won tickets to being an excellent example. Again changed my way of thinking from defeatist to opportunist.

The *** to *** scene at the end of 'requiem to a dream'.a beautiful moment that taught me that it is important to both give and receive-a life lesson which carries me from day to day.

I have few that have changed my outlook on things are dazed and confused, because it let's me believe that a little but of bad behaviour can sometimes be good for you.

Steel magnolius, because showed me that life can be hard.

Dumb and dumber is class, and always remindes to be less serious.

I also like finding neverland, and Peter Pan. It always remindes me to have fun, be happy and always enjoy life as though I was a child. To look for things that make me smile and question things like I once did when I was younger.

The film with Bill Haley called "Rock around the clock" converted me to the enjoyment of that type of music.

Ferris Bueller's day off because:

1. "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"

2. The Dream Academy instrumental cover of Please Please Please played during the art galley scene is so superb that my Wife and I chose it for her to walk down the aisle to

Days of thunder.
Made me want to do two things
1. play about with cars and make them fast!
2. join a race team.
Did the first, and work as a good technician for bmw now (for the last 11 years), the later is practically impossible to get into!

Made me realise if you want something enough there is nothing you can't over come. This is the scene that hit me and changed me forever!
