I need some help, I have started a business detailing cars and need a logo of some type, The Company is called The Polishing Booth, It does what it says on the tin as my last name is Booth but i need a logo of some type for the signage I thought PB or pb or something similar????
I intend to get the logo printed on to give aways like air freshners and the like so need something simple but recogniseable?
Please help as i'm getting prices for signage now.

Not really polished up (pardon the pun ) on Photoshop, so this was a quick effort using a simple design on MS paint. Surely one of the boffins on here could elaborate on the design or manipulate the text to fit better?

I'm ok mate, thanks.
As said, you can change the colour scheme, and manipulate the text. The colours are different, Polished Bliss use 2 shades of blue don't they? And a different font also.
Any better?

How about putting a backwards P and and B together then turning them 90 degress clockwise???
It looks kind of like a car in my mind.
Add some little smoke "waves" to the left just incase they dont get it!!!!
Hope it gives you the right idea!!

What did you do that in mate?
I started my own business in May, one of the hardest things was coming up with a name and 'logo'. I'm not that handy in Photoshop so just stuck to what I know (autoCad).

You could also use Adobe Illustrator instead of Photoshop or use one of the many OPen Source programmes that are free to download and use - the equivalent to Photoshop is called GIMP

I used Photoshop CS3 (on a mac). I don't have illustrator, so I could not convert it to a vector style graphic.
Keep plugging away at photoshop and you will get the hang of it in now time at all. My advice is for anyone wanting to try photoshop and put off of how complicated it may seem for the first time is to try a guide/tutorial and just work through it step by step.
Illustrator is a program that I would love to own.
