What does your other half make of Scoobynet ?
My missus has long since stopped objecting but I get the impression that she thinks that you lot are all a load of misogynistic, homophobic, big dog owning, flash watch wearing, IT geeks who live with mummy and spend every available penny on your rather naff cars, I tell her we are a broad section of the community and occasionally I recount certain threads that show SN in a good light (Astraboy's Bone Marrow donation impressed her) but I dont know how much it has done to change her opinion, apparent she can tell when I have been on SN, I just tell her to not start going on about that as its so SIAL.
What do your other halves make of this remarkable "institution" ?

My gf thinks I'm a sad Scooby geek for coming on here as much as I do, and I'm hardly ever on here compared to some! I think she even feels like a SN widow sometimes.
When she found out I had over 4000 posts she was staggered (even though it took 9 years). What she thinks of people with tens of thousands of posts is unprintable here.. LOL
Also, every time I wave at another Scooby, she takes the proverbial out of me and my "Scooby gang".

only ever use it at work on the odd lunchtime.
got far more to do at home than be on forums on a night.
she does think its all a bit sad, ditto when I used to be on VW forums.

My wife uses it to spy on me.
She has a user ID and posts occasionally, usually to find out how much things cost, or threatens to post daft pictures of me, blackmail stylee.
Nat inadvertantly dropped me in the ****, and it cost me a washing machine.
I noticed she posted on the GT-R thread to check out that an R35 has a driving log, which I sort of told her it did.
She also thinks I should do something more constructive with my time, like actually walk around a shoppng centre with her, rather that sit off in the car looking at posts on my phone, yeah right.
She also thinks I take it too seriously, which I agree with, I do.

Subarus/scoobynet are great, women are even better, but the two are best kept apart. For example, i saw a woman last month driving an Impreza with pink wheels. Now this has got to be the equivelant of me buying a Gucci handbag and painting it with Dulux one coat

Yes, an I have never actually owned one, she is actually the reason for that as she says they are "********" cars hence my succession of Saabs, Volvo's and other stuff that has approval, next time I have told her that she has NO say in my car purchase, if I can afford it and she can drive it and fit more than two people in it then that fulfils the criteria, not going through my entire life being dictated to, its not exactly crime of the century as husbands activities go is it having a slightly naff fast Japanese mini cab, especially since her purchase of a Fiat 500, a fairly pointless vehicle that I have spent most of the summer workign on, I can guarantee that she wont have rust off my scoob in her eyes, welding burns, Hammerite striped arms and crust in the hair, oily fingernails etc etc because of my car to get it through the MOT, all she needs to do is walk past it disgustedly a couple of times a day !

I don't think she minds at all, in fact i think she would probably prefer it, she is more bothered about the hours and hours of gunfire and explosions that seam to emit from the office when nothing good is on the TV
She went crackers a week ago on sunday when i was playing street fighter 4 with the volume apparently a bit to loud

My wife thinks it is a bizarre habit -- but I have asked questions and got reasonably intelligent replies here so she thinks it is normal now.
She does ask why I come here after selling my Impreza many, many years ago!
