me and the g/f are thinking of spending Christmas in Pattaya. Anyone here been and if so what do you think? What are the local attractions? We're looking for a relaxing break not an all out activity holiday just lots of nice sea and sunshine.

Dont take the gf there, its not really a couples type of place.

I wouldnt reccomend it for a relaxing holiday either. Maybe try somewhere like Phuket.

Pattaya is the sex capital of Thailand.

Wouldn't go there with the g/f. It's a proper seedy sex tourism location. Go to one of the islands instead.

mate the sex trade is everywhere and even on the beach you'll get propositioned as for the night life!!!!!

Spend the little extra and goto Phuket its amazing

Did the Seychelles with the ex-wife David so don't want to go back there with the g/f although the Maldives might be another option. I'm starting to think perhaps of Barbados? I have no preferred choice at this time, Pattaya was first on the list of destinations.
