My friend need a ferry from hollyhead to ireland for 15 people on the 17th of april til the 19th and want the cheapest route. all traveling by foot and not interested about the ferry nice things and all that.

Try Irish Ferries.

Used them for a few years but with cars and passengers rather than foot passengers and the prices have always been fine.

Don't know what the other options are but Google for Holyhead and Ireland might come up with alternatives.

[edit] If going from Holyhead/Dublin you may not have any choice other than Irish Ferries. Your choice may be between the "Fast" or the "Cruise". The fast takes just under 2 hours and the cruise is about 4 hours. There are also options like the daytime sailings or the overnights.

Best to have a look at the Irish Ferries website and work out the best deal.

Stena also go into Dublin (Dun Laoghaire) - it's a high speed service. If you are going to the city you then just get on the DART (like the tube) which is about a 1 minute walk from the Port. It's as easy as going on Irish Ferries into Dublin, if not easier. Going into Dublin port is a bit of a pain as no trains although not much in a cab to the city centre from Dublin port. Dublin Port is Irish Ferries, Dun Laoghaire is Stena.
