Default In Bruges

If you like black humour and are a fan of Life on Mars, Lock Stock and Tarantino then this film starring Colin Farrell about two hitmen whiling away time in Bruges as they wait for orders after a job goes wrong is just brilliant.

Colourful language, comic book violence and very very funny.

Best film I have seen for a while, a welcome relief from the usual Hollywood crap.

Just seen some previews on The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) - looks good and worth a watch.

Cheers

Another vote for this film despite the fact I can't stand Colin Farrell.

Ken: We shall strike a balance between culture and fun.

Ray: Somehow I believe, Ken, that the balance shall tip in the favor of culture, like a big fat f**king retarded f**king black girl on a see-saw opposite...a dwarf.

You don't get many lines like that in a film

Get into touch with Tarantino, he'll pay you to use that line in a film!

Not many people got the reference later in the film when they said the tower was closed because some American had a heart attack yesterday

Watched this a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a lot of rubbish.

Couple of funny moments with the Dwarf but crap plot and storyline.

Funny parts, but not a side splitter. Not surprising really as it was a black comedy.

Liked the bit in the restaurant where he "chins" the people objecting to the woman smoking.

Been there also.

Glad a few of you like this. I know most people seem to lap up the standard Hollywood fare, but to me something like In Bruges is far more entertaining if not as instantly accessible.

all the funny moments in a compilation here

How anyone can not have enjoyed this film is beyond me! Best film I've seen in ages.
Another one that went under the radar was Stranger than Fiction. Will Ferrell, but not his usual comic style. Certainly worth a watch.

Me being one of them, what does it refer to?

BTW, watched it, fantastic film! Very funny. Not a fan of Farrell, but thought he was brilliant in it (as were all of them).
