Form or function?
I currently have an Orange SPV3100 (HTC Tytn) and it has been excellent.
An unfortunate incident involving an unexpected impact means that the keyboard has stopped working.
So, what do I do? Do I continue the theme and get the feature packed HTC Tytn II (WM6, GPS, HSDPA, WIFI etc) or do I go down the beautiful form route and get myself an iPhone. Less function, more feel?
Don't want to go back to SEP9xx and I don't like the high function Nokia's. Oh, and please don't mention Blackberry's.

When my all singing all dancing Nokia (now ditched) died on me, I had to use a three year old mobile (6130 I think) for two months.
What I thought would be a total nightmare was actually a revelation.
It made calls EASILY. I could text EASILY. It was SMALL. The battery lasted FOUR DAYS.
I now have a highish function SE K850i which is bigger but manages to combine the useability and speed of my old phone with a bit of functionality - and a bright torch which is now an essential to me (living in a very secluded and dark area)!

The Iphone may be a fancy bit of kit, but if it doesn't do TomTom mobile then its off the list
Like the iPhones, but LOVE the SPV's
Im changing phones next month, and getting this (not sure if its the same)
HTC S710 - Full phone specifications

Sorry, voted Get a life. A phone is a phone, unless you really need all that crap for work or something.
It rings, you answer. Make calls, send SMS. *ta-da*
I'm definitely not in the mobile-tosser culture.

Not in line with the almost weekly thread on here "which mobile should I get?"
Rannoch, I have nothing to add, but am interested that you also broke a TyTn - a colleague of mine said the same. I think they look good for features, but considering how many times I've dropped my P910 and it still works fine, I'm starting to go off them.

It really comes down to the features you *need* rather than the features you like/want.
I hardly use my current phone to make calls, let alone do anything else on it. I'm tempted by an iPhone as, well, I like Apple stuff (if it wasn't obvious
), plus I could use it as an iPod as well as a phone, plus there is also mobile safari, which does appeal to me. I might not have WiFi access on the lake, but I've usually got phone reception, so it's handy to be able to browse the internet whilst lazing on the boat in the sun
