Default Bloody religious charities

[rant]

This is the third time in the last 12 months that a religious charity has a cheque bounced to my company.

This time it's for the tune of £1300.

This particular time it's a Jewish bunch.

As per usual, no one answers their phone. Mobile numbers ring out.

The ****e thing is they've had the goods!

I thought anyone with half a brain would only take cheques with a cheque guarantee card!

Cheque guarantee card for £1300 - Anyone with half a brain knows that they do not exist

Sad fact of business. There is only so much you can do to minimise any risk.

I am aware of that.... I presumed then that the goods would be dispatched once the cheque has cleared......

If someone came to my place and said "here take this piece of paper with my signature on it, and no evidence that it is any good, and I will walk out with 1300 queen quids of goods" I would say "come back once the cheque has cleared"

Name and shame.

Surely the media would be intertested in a story like this?
