A few piccies from Le Mans
I managed to take a few piccies between the downpours.
Its very hard to find a location where you can get a view without getting the dreaded mesh fencing in the way.
Must remember to take stilts or a stepladder next year
The winning Audi
Class winning Aston Martin
Pug
Corvette
Panoz
Greg

Great pics, but more co-ordination needed
Ever seen a basketball player? Jump, and shoot
(or your idea of a step ladder could be the winner)
Did I say great pics? I think I did

Managed to fit tent, two sleeping bags, two sleeping mats, clothing and other bits and bobs in the car. It just takes a bit of practise packing.
The hood was down till it p1ssed down on the french motorway. The car has semi slicks (R888's) so we had to slow down to the point where we were getting soaked so had to pull over and put the hood up.
It only took us about 3 mins but we were soaked through to the skin. My drivers seat resembled paddling pool!
It was a bit of a squelchy journey from there.
But it made a change from the usual le mans heat.

Here are a few of my pics - no great car pics from trackside cos my wee Olympus only has a 2x zoom !
Me at Bleu Sud, trying to gain kudos from mate's 62 E Type.
Pre-match burn outs - is "Mad Dog" on S'net ?"
Scuderia Ecosse in need of a push (and that's how it ended on the track ).
Damn that 2x zoom !! :
And the winner is :
Andy Mc
