Angry Is it the same where YOU live?

Been out twice tonite. I've NEVER seen so many cars with defective lights: one headlight, one front foglight, one brakelight, one rear light, or a combination of the above.

FFS, don't these people EVER look at their lights?

Its the same down here, then they flash you as your lights seem to be brighter.

Every morning i drive past a Black Pug 206 all lights on in daylight. Bloody anoying but what can you do with less police going after these petty infringments. I remember when my old high school car park was used to pull over 15 poeple a time on sunday, and give each car a once over. there was one copper full time writing tickets. But dodgy lights do not show up on the ANPR system so the police dont bother.

No one gives a sh*t anymore - they never get stopped so why should they care?

All they worry about now is how big their next present will be and how much their pathetic over priced Barrett hovel has risen in value in the last six months..

Boy, are they in for a shock, when it all goes wrong...

The guys with the lights ON at the wrong time aren't the ones to worry about

Your not wrong.

It's not helped by modern cars needing headlamps and/or bumpers removed to gain acesss <cough> Golf <cough>

I replaced my mate's headlamp bulb on his coogar (had to take headlamp out as it was a bitch to get access to the rear cover...need a torx screwdriver, how many people have them? - lucky I do as I used to have a Ford myself ).

He gave me a lift yesturday...guess what? Bulb blew, same flippin one too. I'm sure there is some guy at a bulb factory intentionally leaving greasy finger prints on the glass, as I made sure not to touch it

NO. Where I live most cars are well-maintained.

Just a thought though, why don't car manufacturers fit a warning lamp to tell you when light bulbs have blown?

I'll tell him to check his flippin tool kit.

He'll still want me to change the bulb, god knows how he manages when a bulb blows in his house

Yes I see this all the time and it is ridicolous.

I've lost count of the number of times I've followed cars in London with no brake lights working (maybe just the LED bar if they have that). It's very dangerous but with the emphasis all on speeding.... well... I am sure they think they are very safe drivers sticking under the limit.

The roads are more dangerous now than they have been - the reliance on cameras has seen to that. I never see a police car on my route in and out of London - fine when I am in a hurry because I can literally drive however fast I see fit, but not good when you get the real nutters taking advantage of the situation.

Its not helped by the fact that if your not going over a speed hump your driving into a pothole around here. The roads arein a truly ******* awful state no wonder there are so many lights out.
