Top Gear ...............
Nice to see the Discovery making it to the top of that mountain - its a pity that they spend more time being repaired than going up hills!!
If LandRover improved their build quality and relaibility they would have a winner

Credit, where credit is due.
It got up there, with only a few hic-ups.
I think there was a bit more to it, than what was shown on the film take.
By the way, the new Freelander is a little beastie, you should all go out late next year and buy one........PLEASE.
Ive got mouths to feed.

Was very impresive - all those off-road settings will come in soooo useful when it's used for dropping the kids off at school in Putney High St.....
It will all be wasted of course

It was particularly awful - considering it cost 140,000K - I'll say that again incase you missed it - ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS!!
omg
You could buy an Aston Martin Vantage to pop down the shops in for that!!
What are they on? - I'd like to see how many they sell....... shakes head.....

They're not as bad as you lot think they are these days
My other half and myself have 4 between us, the ones used for off-roading just need regular maintenence and my Disco I use everyday has never let me down
The new disco is an amazing vehicle if you've ever seen one off road you'll be suprised. The build quality of the one I attempted to pull appart last week was amazing, I was very impressed
I noticed the continuity too, but put it down to the water in the peat bogs....can't really see they'd bother washing a Disco half way up a mountain!!

Awesome vehicle!
Was at my local dealers for a test drive last Sat. V8 SE 280 bhp - I do like it VERY much.
The kids & wife like the interior (but not the back end ) Rear row of seats much improved
- I was hoping to be able to get one in 3/4 yrs time when they are worth 1/3 of the purchase price but according to the dealer LR are limiting production to keep the residuals high
Tried a new Range Rover diesel - Love the looks and the interior but the engine was noisy & sluggish on pull-away
So might be a Legacy B4 RSK instead So life's not all bad
Mick

Buy the Range Rover But get a Powerlink fitted, you'll be amazed by performance change!, those vehicles are worth every penny.
New Dicovery's are amazing, Drive wonderfully and are exceptional off road.
Landrovers have only been getting better - There will be no reliabilty problem soon.
Peter
