Default 70's & 80's CRISPS

I've just come back from a rather interesting luncheon where the topic of converstation turned to Crisps!! We were debating our favoured snack from the 70's & 80's and whether they were still available.
My personal favorite has to be "PIGLETS" in Bacon & Bean flavour, MMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Also, Salt & Vinegar "RINGOS", what ever happened to all these amazing snacks. I'm pretty sure that neither are made anymore but I might just e-mail the mfr. to see what can be done!!

What Crisp do you remember fondly?

What about "Farmer Browns" & "Whickers" then, where did they all go??????

Don't get me started on Cheese & Tomato "Puffs" as these were a daily 10p tuck shop purchase for years.

The ones were you got a little blue bag of salt inside the packet. The novelty never seemed to wear off.

Something I miss here are salt & vinegar chipsticks.

Pickled Onion Monster Munch. Two bags of these and your breath would be able to make other kids pass out!!

Also Smokey Bacon Frazzles. You'd have the aftertaste for weeks

Sausage and tomata flavour crisps (think they were Smiths or Walkers)
Flavour 'n' shake
Space Raiders, Ringos (cheese 'n' onion for me) and Roast Beef Monster Munch already mentioned
I still like Discos

TBH I still can't get the hang of these new colours. For me:
Dark blue or red = ready salted
Light blue = salt 'n' vinegar
Green = cheese 'n' onion
...but Walkers have swapped them all around now

Yeah they were really nice.

Golden Wonder will be back on the scene soon. Now their cheese and Onion are surely the best.

Chip.
