Should have let 'em have the rocks (they were only paste anyway) provided they took the dome away as well. Government could have claimed on insurance and everyone would have been happy??. DL (not connected in anyway!!)

A colleague pointed out afterwards that the diamonds are worth <B>3 times</B> the asking price for the poxy tent!

You sure the diamonds are still around?
If I were going to nick the stones, I would pay some unlikely (and incompetent) individuals to attempt to steal the stones, rest assured in the knowledge that it would get out, and they would be collared. I would then find out when the stones would be moved to a safe location, and nab them in transit. If I were a crim, that is.
