Hayes Acuura reset needed

Can anyone tell me what command is needing to reset my Hayes Accura
56k fax modem (using win95) ? And obvioulsy step by step how to do it , i'm not
a geek yet
I've been getting frequent line drops within 10 min whilst online
and my ISP suggested I try resseting my modem .
I've already contacted hayes tech support but they havn't replied back so If anyone
can help .
Also strange that this started happen the day before I got hacked !

Well unfortunatley I dont have the manual for our Hayes modems but most modems use similar commands.
Do you have the manual or a quick reference guide?
I have checked a couple of other modem manufacturers and both say the command ATZ will reset the modem.
I dont know about talking to the modem from PCs but have a look at:
