Question

Got myself a decent Dewalt SDS Plus drill last weekend after having enough with the Black+Decker..

Looking at the screwfix site, they seem to be doing SDS plus drill bits for stupid money, they say they are made in Germany...
Anyone tried using these?, or is it a case of buy cheap, buy twice..

Cant beat sds drills... unless you want a nice tidy hole...

Yep,
can also reccommend the screwfix sds drill bits. The ones we have,12mm,17mm and 25mm (i think)are still like new after some heavy duty drilling.Would love a 4.5inch core bit for when we have to drill holes for flues and for soil pipes but my boss wont buy me one
So its stitch drill and insert chisel(sp?) bit and i'm away

I dont just do cars... I do anything... I bought it when I built my garage extension as the concrete panels are quite hard to drill... or I thought they were till I got this.. I also do quite a bit of electrical and plumbing work for people.. so I use the chisel for chasing quite a bit... Core drill was bought as a mate wants me to fit a new bathroom... and I just got it from screwfix as they are cheap... would like a soil pipe sized one

What sds??... whats sds... its something you would NEVER be without again after using... Ive got a bosch -- http://www.screwfix.com/shop_product.html?19663

or a cheapy one...

screw fix are cool, but beware when you do get a problem with something.
they dont turn up when they say they will.
waiting for a collection driver is a pain when they dont turn up especially when you have a brand new tvr outfront.

I had a problem once with delivery - but it was purely down to Parcelforce - Screwfix themselves were very good at chasing the problem and contacting me regularly until it was resolved.
