1998-1999 = 1998MY Turbo 2000 in Reddish Blue
1999-2003 = 1999MY RB5 #437 WR-Sport
2003-2008 = 2003MY STI + PPP in WR Blue
2008-2014 = 2008MY STI hatch + PPP in Obsidian Black
2014-... = 2014MY STI without rear wing + exhaust mod & remap in Lightning Red

Will probably keep this one for a while now! Next car will be a bit more sensible, would like to stick with Subaru though, so maybe a Levorg or something. AWD is a must for me as I spend most winter weekends in the mountains!

2003 - 2005 = 1999MY Turbo 2000 in Blue
2007 - 2008 = 2003MY WRX in WR Blue
2009 - 2011 = 2002MY STI + PPP in WR Blue

Think my last one will be the last Scoob I own.

on my 5th and likely my last for a long time now...

2008 - '00 WRX Type RA in Sonic Blue. Had it for 7 weeks precisely.
2009 - '99 UK Turbo in Mica Green. Had it a year
2010 - '00 WRX STI RA in Sonic Blue. Should never have sold it...
2013 - '05 STI Widetrack in black. Found it boring
2017 - '97 WRX STI Type R in Sonic Blue

do it zany and enjoy it before we say goodbye to cars like this to the electric future, i have been toying with the idea for one of these, they seem to be proving very very reliable and not as much to run as you might think. litchfields offer an engine build for £8k IF you need one (you could quite easily pay that for a subaru engine build). discs and pads seem very expensive though although there may be aftermarket item out now which may be cheaper. not sure i would fit in one of these though.

as for imprezas im on my 3rd now and i never get bored of the sound/looks/grip/performance. i turn 40 next year and i find myself looking at cars that offer big bhp with more comfort but they dont seem to have the support network around them. take the bmw f10 m5, can be had for £26k through bmw approved used with a bmw warranty BUT no modifications allowed otherwise warranty is void and you really dont want to run one of these without a warranty. a new engine from bmw is £35k.........lol

with my impreza i know exactly how much things are going to cost and who to take it to, plenty of specialists around aswell. entering the world of the unknown like an m5 is rather scary and i dont think i could do it.

i do have a massive itch for a big v8 and ive been looking at the vxr8/c63 amg/jaguar supercharged xfr etc but i honestly think i would get bored of them within 6 months. i do however think i need to scratch the evo itch whilst i can afford one and they have not rotted away.

whatever we drive guys just enjoy it as a boring future of electric awaits us.........................

Jdm hatch bought September 2015
it will be with me for life I think
but I’ve had erotic dreams about the gtr aswell
maybe when I forge the hatch engine I could look at a gtr to keep it company in the garage

My one and only Scoob (uk MY99) left me in 2007 after 6 years of ownership. The Elise itch had to be scratched. After various other 2wd cars I had to get back in a 4wd as I was fed up with no grip for most of the year. I was lured to the Germans an 5 cylinders

I drove a 2017 version in that colour and it was awful, may have been the factory fit tyres but didn't enjoy the experience one bit, even the door handles are weird.
