As above microfoam sponge or a very soft bristled brush with leather cleaner...some cleaners work better with agitation via a brush rather than sponge, it’s a case of try it and see. Most cleaners should get it out, it’s just a case of getting into the grain.
Always use conditioner afterwards.

Ive been using astinish leather cream, meant for your settee but works great. I bought a spec d interior earlier in the year that was stiff and cracking in places. It's softened and cleaned up great now after a few applications.
