I find dr leather wipes quite good, gives a nice matt finish.
Personally I use the wipes, let it dry a little, and then buff with a clean microfibre cloth.

what is that? Make up? Chocolate?

As above microfoam sponge or a very soft bristled brush with leather cleaner...some cleaners work better with agitation via a brush rather than sponge, it’s a case of try it and see. Most cleaners should get it out, it’s just a case of getting into the grain.

Always use conditioner afterwards.

Ive been using astinish leather cream, meant for your settee but works great. I bought a spec d interior earlier in the year that was stiff and cracking in places. It's softened and cleaned up great now after a few applications.

Looks like powder from protective gloves.
When I use the dr leather wipes on my car I use powdered rubber gloves.
I get marks similar to that if the back of the glove accident makes contact with something
