Whether they have the right to say it I’m not disputing but for even thinking it was funny means they are a bit special in the head and need a visit from the men in white coats.

They could be done for outraging public decency or causing a public nuisance due to the wide interpretation of those charges as morality is covered. Personally I don’t see any value in that and what would be more damaging is the press outing those responsible and naming and shaming them.

It takes a special kind of person to plan to do something like that.
I'd really love to know what their motivation was.

This is just wrong. Blackadder does not laugh at the acts of death especially as you claim in Blackadder Goes Forth. What is mocked is the stupidity and reasoning behind the senseless waste of life. Are you seriously trying to compare Blackadder Goes Forth with the idiots who have laughed at the deaths of the Grenfell victims?

Christ, there are clips on Facebook daily of far worse stuff,
Be better off trying to stop those crazies down there stabbing each other to death weekly
Is there a timeline for when it's safe to joke about death & other misfortunate folk ?
I guess there are no Frankie Boyle fans on here....

Of course this isn't a hate crime. The only hate being generated by this is being directed at them. Plenty of this sort of ignorant stuff out there, it's sad the lack of empathy in a lot of people, but hey, that's the way the world is at the moment. Making it a crime would be a very dangerous thing to do for all of us.
