Not very nice that so what you basically mean to say is you employ cheap labour from people who are unfortunate enough to have a stable country. Then they invade other peoples and expect to live as if they were at home instead of blending in. As was said at the beginning of the thread when in Rome do as the Romans do. In my way of thinking that would be the done thing. Just like staying in somebody's house or a hotel you abide by the rules and don't rub other people up the wrong way.

The following is what a muslim friend told me
The Burkha has no place in UK society and should be banned. Anybody wearing one is rejecting integration into UK society and therefore will NEVER play a useful role in this country. All they will do is produce lots of children who will be equally backward, fail to integrate and very likely be economically unproductive.
This is a Wahabi (Saudi) influenced trend, a society known to subjugate its women. Liberals who defend a woman's 'choice' to wear a Burka are intellectually challenged. How can it be a choice if the wearing of a Burka is encouraged by a society and religion dominated by men? How many female Imams and 'islamic scholars' are there in places like Saudi?
This is lost on liberals who perversely defend illiberal practices in the name of being liberal, go figure.
If you want to wear a Burka **** off to Saudi and don't come back.

It's not a slippery slope, its subjugation and has no place in progressive society; we should be engaging and educating those that don't recognise that fact and help them move into the 21st century.

All the good will in the World won't make a jot of difference there is no educating them they are doing it for their religious beliefs despite the fact the Quran does not require women to cover themselves up head to toe. As already pointed out this is a Saudi influence and if they are that hardline then they would be better off practising their form of religion in Saudi
