Default Need advice on data allowance.

So, with my usual bad luck, my wife has been transferred to Pinderfields hospital three weeks after I started a 12 month contract for unlimited everything with Virgin.
Guess what? No Virgin coverage at Pinderfields. You couldn't write this could you. People would just say it's not lifelike.

Got Virgin to cancel for me, now need O2 since they are the only service provider there. Checked with Virgin and the hospital.

So...I don't want to tie us to a 12 month deal again. yet the max they will allow on rolling monthly deals is 10GB.

What would that get her? She uses the data allowance for emails, Whatsapp, the occasional surfing for her condition and cures, and not much else. We might do Skype. Would 10GB suffice?

She seems to have free Wifi there, but needs the phone since I cannot talk to her on whatsapp, it refuses to connect.

Any help gratefully received.

Giffgaff £20=20gb with no contract. I have 20gb and struggle to use it all up.

Agreed with above, GiffGaff should be just what you need. Used them for step daughters phone, can’t fault them

I'm on GiffGaff too. Only problem is they don't have a customer service number.

I'm directly with o2 on a rolling sim only contract, I get 20gb p/m and I have to try hard to even use 10gb.
I pay £20pm unlimited. Check on website there's always at least 1 special deal every month.

O2 are implacable. Go 12 months or pay £28 for only 10GB on a monthly.
No thanks.

Got Virgin to cancel for me, they have waived all charges except usage.

Am now awaiting GiffGaff sending me a SIM card, but she is in the basement area at pinderfields and there would appear to be no signal down there anyway. She now has the hospital wifi, so is happy enough, might go one month with GiffGaff at 20MB, then reduce it is she doesn't need it.

Thanks to all.

I have lots going on at the mo, so any help with stuff I don't get is much appreciated.
