Really am sick to death of HD eyebrows, pouts, snapchat filters, selfies in public toilets and short women only after men taller than 6ft with absolutely nothing interesting to say about themselves or their life.
One thing I hate more than dating sites is so-called friends trying to match-make and set up blind dates "oh she's, single, he's single, that must make them a perfect couple"....I have two words for them...**** off!

In my opinion they all own dogs - it's in the unwritten dog ownership rules, that dog owners must stop, chat with each other, and be friendly and sociable, and while your dog is deciding whether to chase, hump or play with her dog, you get the opportunity to get friendly with the owner.
Nah seriously, I haven't a clue - no idea how I came to be married - I was single and happy to remain that way indefinitely, went on a 2 day training course, got along very well with the trainer, found we had a lot of shared interests, 18 months later we married, that was 10 years ago.
Found my fiancé on match.com been together 8 years and 99.9% happy (there's always something!). Spent about 18 months contacting/been contacted other women beforehand (and the internet provides an amazingly wide variety of the species, not to mention scammers and other n'er do wells), so as long as you go in with a) an open mind and b) your eyes open there is hope.
