Owen Smith sacked for stating that he belives there should be a second referendum.
And who pops up to defend Jezza Flip-Flop-Man, saying that there should be no place on the front bench for anyone not supporting Liebour policy?
Only Diane "Trust me" Abbott, who defied a Liebour three line whip over Brexit...and got away with it.....
You couldn't make it up...and still the socilaists on here support this crew...LOL

Well, ten according to your poll last year: https://www.scoobynet.com/non-scooby...-election.html
I think maybe the folk you are inferring to are/were Liberal voters now these are quite vocal members with a almost Northern like stubbornness (which is quite commendable for shandy drinking southerners).

lol, liebour will try anything to get into power, they even promised free money at the last election and still couldn't win. The whole party needs a revamp, they have a leader that will never win an election, a party that doesn't support the leader in any strength and are trying to win elections with promises only the young and naive will believe is actually possible. They would ruin the country.

yep.
Our present incompetent was local council leader, as well as lecturer at a 6th form college.
He then gives up being leader because it's sooooo important to be vice principal. A few years later he gives up the council and politics as it's sooooooooo important to be principal
And yes, you guessed it, gave THAT up as it was soooooooooooooooo important to be MP and represent the local people.
Then what does he do on being elected? Takes a position as a party whip...so he can now represent the party, not us.
The utter, utter b@stard!

Successive governments have screwed over young people, someone offers them something, then all of sudden it's a 'cause for great concern'

I'm not 'on the case' of pensioners, I'm just pointing out that they've been offered something really good because they represent a powerful voting block.

Because its unrealistic and would bankrupt the country to do it, yet young people are too naive to realise the reality we are in.

But to claim that changing back to the old system would 'bankrupt the country' is also pretty naive.

our whole university systems is flawed anyway, no one stops to ask 'does everyone have the intelligence and drive to get a degree worth the paper its printed on?' they just keep admitting more and more people.

No your pension is paid for by people currently paying tax. When you worked you were paying the pensions of those (at the time) retired. It's the way the system works.

As you say, and despite arguments to the contrary, the state pension is alive and well and thriving because no government would dare to touch it for fear of instantly become 'the previous government'.
Pensioners vote, young people don't.

You're the one who only seems to deal in absolutes, Labour= bad, Tories = good, young people = bad, old people = good etc.
Which again (and to coin your current favourite word) is naive
