When you really "click" with a new car
Over the years I've owned 50+ cars I had the dilema of what to buy next
And after racking my brain I came to the conclusion I need to buy a car I'd always fancied owning Alfa Romeo ( especially when clarkson said, you're not a true petrol head until you've owned a Alfa )
I no the historic reputation they have but I think times have changed and the build quality has improved.
I've owned this car 3 days and I'll be honest I totally love it, it's the 1.9jtdm Ti
It drives so well the interior is quirky and the seat and cabin are lovely to be in
I plan on removing the egr and swirl flaps and getting the dpf terra cleaned then I'll map it, lowering springs and maybe wheel spacers.
Anyone had one of these or dealings with modern alfas ?? Honestly what a great alround motor

Passed by an alfa 4c yesterday - that certainly sounded sexy
Ummm , which is surprising seeing as its just 2l turbo
What a plastic world we all increasingly inhabit

It's all about opinion as the 1.9 is supposed to be the better engine over the 2.0 but it's like any car if you find a half decent one you should be ok I'd stay away from sub £4K examples to pick up a decent one

You can map them 1.9s upto nearly 200hp on basic map.
I used to have a 146TI years ago and that was pretty reliable apart from when the wife drove over a oneven road where a grate was sticking up slightly, but with the low ally sump it just exploded on the road, was a fairly expensive part because made of ally. I also personally know a local Alfa specialist so not worried in that area if I can't fix etc.
Still umming and arring though lol, I'll probably change my mind like always lol.
