Default Speed camera/laser detectors

Hi

Can anybody recommend any good, reliable modern radar detectors?
Not wanting to speed, but would be good to have some in-car warning system to remind me to take my eyes off the road for a second and check I’m not doing 43 in a 40.. 👍
No lectures please!

Thanks

Nick

I've upgraded from the Road angel GEM to the new PURE. Pre ordered back in August and it arrived a few weeks ago.
So far so good. Looks ace and it's it's ideal as a Speedo.

I thought no device was any good against a handheld/mobile laser detector as by the time you get an audible warning your speed has been clocked.

Does it work off pre-reported locations? or is it picking up "signals" from the gun?

I'd guy one if I believed they worked well enough

I once heard that the signal from a garage door opener jammed the handheld device.

you have it on open constanly as you drive and it shows as error on the gun.

they will pull you to find our what jammed it which in turn you'e turned it off, they find it and see you have an electric garage at home and you get off Scott free. Or was I duped into buying an electric door? 🤤

Most camera vans are civilian operated so no one is pulling you over..
