Default Tyre pressure gauge

Looking for an accurate decent tyre pressure gauge for the key ring as I don’t drive the car 3/6 weeks at a time and could do with checking them before I Need to go to the fuel station if need be

Right now I’m having to go and check at the fuel station when I’m taking it out and 9/10 times the air pressure is fine
it’s going to be a lot easier with a gauge on the key ring this will save me time and effort aswell

Any recommendations advice or links will be appreciated

Thankyou all in advance

Last time I got air at a garage the guy charged me £2.00.

I complained and he just said "I'm sorry Sir, that's inflation for you"

This is what I got last year when i miss placed my last gauge. Its less than a tenner got good accuracy scores in the review's and tests I read, and I find it easy to use, I liked the case untill I dopped it, and the hinge broke, now its got an elastic band around it.

I'm not a massive fan of tyre pressure gauges as they tend to let air out before seating correctly, depending on which one you buy.

What I use at home is a track pump, I have one which does both presta and schrader valves and because it has a press fit and lock it never allows any air to escape. Works perfect for inflating as well, I use it at track as well, set them all to 30psi then after 5 laps come in and check them and adjust if needed.

You got a link for the track pump pal sounds a plan

Would prefer to check pressures before I drive off when tyres are cold

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/lifeline-tor...lack-one-size/

That’s pretty much the same one as I bought, mine is a “lifeline” high pressure track pump but they don’t stock it anymore.

Perfect for checking tyres at home, accurate readings and it simply press fits with no air loss, I have 2 different tyre pressure gauges, the small ones that you can keep anywhere, even in your pocket and I’m not a massive fan, I had contemplated purchasing one from demontweeks that was a press fit with gauge but I already had the track pump and never found the need.

You must have massive forearms pal

See that’s a massive misconception, there’s no resistance at all, or very little. It just takes a little bit longer or and more pumps, for example say 10 pumps to go up 5psi roughly.
