Default Parahawking

As some of you know I love a bit of Paragliding, well, I got a treat on Sunday.

I just happened to be taking a walk through Scott's field as he was heading up the mountain for a practice flight, I've flown the area many times with untrained Vultures but this was the first time I'd shared a lift to launch with one, and if the timing was right, Baldrick was coming for dinner.

The conditions were perfect and we had an amazing time thermalling, feeding and somewhat fighting Baldrick off, don't want a hitch hiker.

We didn't rig any cameras as it was looking too peachy to hang around, I took these as we landed back in the field with the others birds of prey.

Have a read up at www.parahawking.com give the project a like or something, if it tickles your fancy Malaga is an easy flight.

This was earlier in the week when I first met Baldrick.

That's pretty awesome. I imagine it's something else to be working/playing with those birds way up there in their world, as it were

It’s a bit dark for a picture but it looks like a snake bit me, that’s through a thin shell jacket, I kept him on my hand too long. Pretty sure that was him trying to eat me, I never felt his claws clamp down but remember not wanting them in my eyes.

Flying with a Kettle of Vultures is a privilege, here’s my track from earlier in the day, the curly bits away from the hill were marked by them, lift near the hill was marked by Germans.
