I like Holy Mountain ! Not listened to the rest.

Always thought they were utter plonkers but have to say Noel had quite a dry sense of humour when heard him on the radio recently. Age comes to us all.lol

I’m an oasis fanatic. I’ve seen them 4 times and have tickets to Liams gig in Brighton in a couple of weeks and tickets to see Noel next year at Wembley arena.
I’ve always favoured Noel for his amazing songwriting, heartfelt solo performances and his sense of humour.
However he’s dropped a bollock and split the oasis fans with this record. Calling most ‘parka monkeys’ didn’t go down well, the record is more dance than it is rock n roll and his overall ‘I don’t care what the fans think’ attitude. Apart from ‘dead in the water’ which is a bonus track there’s no real ‘songwriting’ at all.
Liam on the other hand has smashed ‘As you were’, self penned 9 of the 15 songs and is massively outselling Noel.
I’ve seriously contemplated selling my Noel tickets on but I’m ****ing buzzing for Liams gig next month.

The world is upside down.

I luv oasis and I saw them 6 times when they were together. Noel’s solo music is better than liam’s. Do luv liam’s New record though.

Back in the days when you purchased concert tickets (and coach travel) from your local independent record shop ... a concept my kids can't get their heads around.

I missed out on Knebworth unfortunately but was at Wembley for the familiar to millions gig.
I also had tickets for Finsbury Park but my ex was 9 months pregnant with my eldest so didn’t end up going as she laid the guilt trip on .
Best gig was the 1000 tickets only 10 years of noise gig at Shephards Bush. Everyone had fake tickets and there were at least 2000 in the venue.
Cannot wait for December 15th. Me and a mate had a picture outside Pretty Green in Brighton a few weeks back when we were smashed out of our heads singing ‘when I’m in need’
