Default Electric blanket control unit...repair required..WHO/WHERE?

The control unit for our Homefront electric blanket .. 5 pin ACHPFD Aug 2011 .. has packed up. No life at all, not a flicker. Changing fuse made no difference. Ebay chappie says if the unit is dead he can't repair it ! Homefront have no idea when a replacement unit will be available..not a lot of use.
So........
Does anyone know of anywhere in the UK that can repair it ? It can be posted so no problem there. I have tried local outlets/electrical shops etc but no joy.
Seems a shame to have to get a complete blanket just because the controller is broken.

Cheers
Brian.

Clutching at straws time.

Do you not have any form of heating in your bedroom?

I've not heard of anyone using an electric blanket for years
