Default JAE

I realise this may not be the correct place to post this but tried under events but didn't have the option to post there, so apologies before hand...

I just wanted to throw it out there and ask how many of you are regulars and what your opinions are on the previous and the new show venues.

I was there Last year at Newark with my other club (paid for membership) and i have to say I wasn't impressed by Newark, it was ok, but felt it could have been better.

The new venue looks to be better but haven't ever been there and was wondering what you all thought of this?

Be a good day out, I may head to it if my car is up and running. I'm sure it was ran here a few times years ago?

I heard so as well, just it'll be my first time at this venue.

Scoobynet never has a stand, if I go I'm going to see if I can get on the MLR stand.

I've been to the last 4 or 5 shows, really good weekend for socialising. Even took the Scooby on the 4x4 track last year

Was great fun and the track is completely soft so no solid mud or rocks to do any damage on. Main stuff was 'waterproofed' to the best of my ability and some bits removed, also was on 'winter' wheels so all good.

Definitely surprised a few people on the day, especially as proper 4X4 vehicles were getting stuck because the car was at the show I had cleaned it pretty thoroughly so couldn't get much mud stuck to the car lol

It's a well kept good looking Impreza, still though you got a pair of big brass ones mate I would be freaking out if it were my Leggy 😁

the team i come with is there from Thursday already setting up, they also have a BBQ started ready for Thursday Dinner and for every meal after, for the rest of the stay there, and although I don't stay on site to sleep (I stay at BnB) we do stay on site most of the time partaking in activities such as helping each other with mechanical jobs on our cars or cleaning and polishing or just chilling and chatting, helping out with setting up, and even games. the only time people actually go off site is to go by booze and snacks.

I drive all the way from Ireland to do this and i have an absolute blast!
