Perth is very nice, apart from 3-4 months in the spring when you'll come to know the 'Perth Wave'. Never have my arms had such a workout swatting the incredibly annoying swarms of flies away.

This kind of thing annoys me....you voted to remain without ever planning on living with the consequences of your vote. I would of made it so that if you voted remain then you are not allowed to draw a UK pension unless you live in the UK and you cannot leave the UK to live elsewhere for 20 years unless you are prepared to lose your British citizenship.

Based on your actions I am led to believe that you are a complete **** and I hope your dreams and hopes die very quickly.

I take it you meant "voted to leave".

Its amazing how many prominent brexiteers are now making plans to desert the sinking ship.

It would be extremely funny if he didn't qualify for immigration to Australia. Its also extremely funny, that the fall in the pound will be buying a property there will now cost him so much more than in 2016!

I would qualify
I believe the photos are proof, I'm here. We would look to buy a holiday vacation place, generating income when we aren't here.

That's very kind, and though I think I might have influenced the odd person, I cant, no really I can't accept the title of prominent brexiteer

I wouldn't say that it's isolated, direct flight from UK. Only like any long haul to USA or Asia. Plus you get a bed

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perth

Perth is one of the most isolated major cities in the world. The nearest city with a population of more than 100,000 is Adelaide, 2,130 km (1,324 mi) away. Only Honolulu (population 374,660), 3,841 km (2,387 mi) from San Francisco, is more isolated.

Sorry, but this does not meet the standardised Scoobynet verification criteria.

Proof involves a photograph of yourself with a local paper showing today's date with a loaf of bread balanced on your head.

It's the second most isolated city on the planet - fact! Nobody said it was inaccessible! Even if you can fly, its the second longest flight on the planet to the next city! If you can't understand the meaning of isolated, its no wonder you couldn't understand the implications of Brexit!

I don't see the point about isolated. It doesnt make the place any less desirable/pretty/ideal to live but in. Perth is a great place and an example of what cities could be like if it weren't for over population.

The Isolation has a significant effect on the living costs and availability of fresh produce.

It also highlights that you're the type of person who continues to argue a point even when your point has been clearly proven to have no substance.

My brother lives in nw australia, everything is mega expensive because its all imported and as for the internet!! They are still using dialup and 3g dongles, its like living in the 90s oh and a lot of content is blocked. If the kids want to go out in the back garden he has to go out there first and nuke it for bugs and spiders.

Maybe for the far North West where population is extremely sparse. I would disagree for the rest of Australia, with the internet, everywhere I've stayed and it's been over 10 locations now, the internet is fine, firstly Telstra offer WiFi hotspot, virtually all hotels, restaurants have WiFi. Telstra even works on 4G out at sea

All the food I've had has been great, agree a little pricey. Lots of fresh food.

Going back to Perth, it has free bus travel for everyone in the city and there is also free city WiFi.

Re wildlife, what would you want to do that for, just use the plethora of parks, virtually all the town's have a park, sports field and unlike the UK, are clean and full of kids playing sports, even though it's winter here

So there is an reported problem with 24k complaints. I'm here typing away on 4G . I've traveled 600miles by car and reception has been very good. WiFi has been very good, better than I expected or experienced in the UK. I would say the availability of WiFi in public places is comparable to the USA

No, it's the fault of BT/Openreach, not replacing the aluminium cable for either the latest copper or fibre

I've never had a problem with internet speed or content restrictions in Australia - east and west - and providing internet was my job. The flies however, especially in Perth were a massive problem.

What a desperate back of the queue clamouring for favour with Africa !

Purely as a result/ kneejerk reaction to isolating our nearest trading partners

Were about 25 years too late

embarrassing too

Quick Reply: So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.
