So Brexit seems to be a good thing then.

"Of the opinion"?
Like the opinions of those who said we'd have to have an emergency budget?
That it would cost every man, woman and child in the UK £3000?
That banks would all move abroad as soon as we voted out?
Like those opinions.
Honestly, you probably believe there are fairies too?

Sure we can trade with the rest of the world (although we do now, a fact that seems to have escaped the Wrexiteers), but roughly half is with the EU, so 'walking away' as you put it is simply not an option.
Still pushing that naivety, I'm sure it will serve you well

AGAIN with the insults.
Do you REALLY have nothing else to offer? Seriously, dude, if I couldn't argue my point
without constantly insulting folk, I'd give it up.
To answer you: "walking away".....you REALLY think that the other countries, who sell us more than we sell them, will ACTUALLY let us "walk away"??????
And what happened to WTO rules?
And as for "another buyer", let's wait for the politicians and people like Juncker, out to make a name for himself, to finish their posturing. THEN see what happens when industry starts to put pressure on..... for it's NOT the politicians who call the tune, whatever they may think.

Well, in your ill thought out analogy, we walk away. However, back in the real word we cannot, so we get WTO rules, which is considerably worse than what we have now.
You do understand that, don't you?

Saying you are naive isn't an insult, it's simply stating a fact.

So you think that 16% of trade vs 46% of trade is a win for us? We screw nearly half our trade, they screw less than a fifth. Wow, you must be an economics professor......

Who exactly is going to put pressure on? We are not going to stop buying goods from the EU, we still need cars, parts, food, TVs etc etc, they will simply be more expensive. The drop for the companies there will be negligible, just more pain for us.

Because anyone with half an ounce of common sense will understand that you're not going to see any meaningful change in the way the UK functions as an economy untill after we leave the EU.

And since this is just becoming I said, she said, I think it's time to put it to bed.
I just can't be bothered any more, tbh.

Ah, but your "experts" forecast awful things immediately after an out vote...NOT when we actually leave. NO-ONE know what will ACTUALLY happen, not the Brexiteers and certainly not the remainers, who were show up stiff in how wrong they were.
